All Citadel paints are non-toxic, water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures.

BASE - A thick, heavy paint with lots of pigment to render it opaque after one or two coats. Base paints are meant to be placed liberally over a model immediately after priming, before other steps.
