Atiwa

Atiwa is a challenging worker placement game with resource management by Uwe Rosenberg. Players take on the role of fruit growing families who live on the edge of a Ghanaian forest reserve and keep flying foxes as "pets". The beneficial animals spread the seeds of fruits, not only helping to reforest fallow land, but also helping to improve harvests.

In Atiwa, players build a community by building homes for families and sharing their newfound knowledge of the positive effect fruit bats have on the environment with those around them. They have to be careful with their animals and resources. Whoever best meets the needs of their own community and the environment wins.
